It's hubby's birthday and Maddie is very excited. She made a heart birthday card already and now she keep asking me when will we start going to bake a birthday cake for daddy. She said that her daddy will not be happy coming home without a birthday cake. Well, the problem is we don't have the ingredients and hubby drove the small car. So, I asked him to just buy a cake for MAddie to blow of course. She still thinks it's her birthday also. Anyway, have a good day all.

We had a great time at the NAture and science museum. First, we watched Big bird and Elmo. The kids liked it. It was a short show but was nice. Next, we went to see different exhibit. Then, lastly we went to see the lizard and anacondas. We had a picture of it too. It was like being eaten alive by Anacondas. All in all,we had a good time. Plus, you can't complain because it was free from where hubby work. Have a wonderful time all.

Expecting your baby is the most wonderful thing that can happen in every parent. It is every dream that a family can come true. Some really are blessed to have kids. Last weekend, we collected a bag full of clothes for donation. ALso, we donated our old working TV because hubby doesn't want to have TV in the bedroom anymore. We also gave out Maddie's old bike and pony toy to a friend who had a little girl. I am sure she will like and enjoy it. This weekend we are planning on cleaning up again to free up some space. We are definitely out of space. Have a goodnight all.

My friend at work was telling me about a show she watches called “The Walking Dead.” It sounded ridiculous because she said it was about how the whole world is turning into zombies. I told her that I was not in to sci-fi stuff like that. However, she continued to try to convince me that it was different than other zombie shows. She said that it was so intense and more of a thriller than a cheesy, zombie show. I told her that I did not even have cable, so I would not be able to watch it anyway. However, a few weeks ago I decided to get cable television and thought I should give “The Walking Dead” a chance. I watched one episode and I was hooked. I had to confess to my friend at work that she was right. I am surprised at how much I enjoy the show. Sometimes, I even get a little scared. Who knew that I would actually enjoy watching a tv show about zombies? I guess my friend knew what she was talking about after all.

I am sending two boxes of balikbayan box to Bohol. My mom is going home this year and she wanted me to send this boxes so that she will have something to give away when she is there. One box is ready to be pick-up except hubby didn't close it yet. It's kind of heavy and kids wants to help if I do it. So. I'll just wait for hubby to have time then call Forex for pick-up. Hopefully, soon.

What a week. We have been shopping almost everyday. I am broke now. My credit card is max out. Anyway, I should be done with this crazy idea of shopping because I really don't need much of this. Ugg shoes are too expensive and I might just return this but i like it though and hubby got it for me. Well, maybe I'll just keep it.

Anyway, excited to go check on Maddie's preschool tomorrow. Hopefully, she will like it. Also, there's an Avanti school for music that a friend recommended and we might check on that too. If it is not too far to drive. have a wonderful Thursday all.

My husband and I went to The Biltmore Housea few months ago and had so much fun. I loved touring the house, especially since it was decorated for Christmas. Every time my husband and I go somewhere, I try to get some type of souvenir that I can hang in our home to remind me of the trip. While we were at The Biltmore, I saw a beautiful oil painting that hung in one of the hallways and told my husband that I would love to have a print of that painting in our house. We went to the gift shop after our tour, but I could not find a print of that painting. When we got home I decided to go online using our clear boston internet and see if I could find a copy of that painting. I searched for over an hour on different art websites and finally found a place that carries a replica of the painting. I was so excited when my husband told me that I should purchase it to hang in our dining room. Now every time I look at that picture, I will remember what a great time we had on our trip to The Biltmore House.

Maddie and Jarod are looking forward to their aunties and uncle's coming to visit. Not really visit mainly but to pick up the car that hubby bought for my in-laws. He is very much excited to get it. So is MAddie very excited to greet them and of course her dried mangoes from Trader's Joe. She and JArod likes it a lot. So, we ordered 10 packs of them. Hopefully, they will have a safe flight here.

A friend told me that there is a good sale going on at Old Navy. And so I dragged my husband to Old Navy and I bought a lot of clothes for a very cheap price. I am going to send this to my family back home in the Philippines. They are already looking forward to this. My mom also wants me to buy more for her to give away because she is planning to go home in September. Hopefully, I can get some more. I have one box full and packed and ready to be shipped. Army Moves

My husband is in the Army, so we move every couple of years. I never thought I’d get used to all the moving, but we have it down to an exact science at this point. We made a moving checklist the second time the Army moved us, and we have been using that as a baseline, and adjusting as we go. The first thing we have to do is always research neighborhoods. We make sure to try and speak to some locals to see their point of view on neighborhoods. We never, ever take advice from realtors on where to live. They always have their own interest in mind. The next thing I do is start setting up our utilities, like electricity, direct.TV and phone. Once I have that all done I set up the appointment with the movers and fill out all of the necessary Army paperwork. Moving is stressful, but when I take it one day at a time I feel much better. One of the good tings is we’ve been able to afford better places as the years have gone on. Now I always look forward to moving into a bigger and better home, instead of dreading all of the work.

Maddie had a lot of gifts from her auntie's, uncle's and grandpa here in California. No wonder that she likes it here. She loves Chino the little dog and the big house where she said it's from her grandma and her beautiful friends. That's how she said it. I wonder if she knows that we are going home tomorrow. God bless our long way home Lord. For sure she is not going to like it. She love here because she is not bored here. Going to the park and the beach is her favorite too. This holidays we are spending time with hubby's family here in Gardena. Maddie enjoyed it here and so is Jarod. They liked that the house is big for them to run around and play. Even MAddie lies to ride her bike inside the house or in the backyard. While JArod also like to walk around the house. They also like it here because they have there aunts and uncles to play with. Also, Chino the dog is very playful with Maddie. She said that Chino is her best buddy friend and that she is taking him to Colorado. I wish she can because she really likes dogs but the problem is JArod has dog allergy. Anyway, well jus get her a toy one. Have a wonderful and best holiday all.

Maddie is so excited to see Disneyland that even if I have a painful foot we still went. My mom treat us all to Disneyland. Thank you grandma for the expensive treat. Maddie for sure had a blast and so was Jarod. She saw her favorite princess Snow White. And you can see that, that is her favorite one because she was wearing a princess Snow White dress herself. She saw all the princesses thought in the princess palace. The parade was also very nice but there were a lot of people in line already along the side of main street that it was hard to see. We just decided to go home because we we're exhausted already and the kids were cranky too. All in all it was a fun and adventure day of Maddie. Her dream did come true. I watched Conan last night for the first time in a long time. You see I do not usually stay up that late. Normally that would be WAY past my bedtime but last night sleep would not come and therefore I had to turn the TV on to make my brain stop over thinking everything that is happening in my life right now. Conan comes on TBS now and you can find it in your http://www.Expertsatellite.com/ television channel guide. I think it comes on at eleven at night but not quite sure on the timing. Conan is, I think, the funniest of all the late night comedy guys. I like his little monologue that he does at the beginning of the show where he usually incorporates some kind of dance move and at least one or two head shakes where his hair stays almost perfectly still. That still amazes me that they can make his hair so tall and that it does move from its perfectly coiffed style even though he jumping all around the stage like a crazy rabbit.

Maddie and I are busy today wrapping gifts for everyone. Even though we are not going to spend our Christmas in here we still wrap some presents to be open maybe before or when we got back from California. Maddie had a great time wrapping gifts and also wasting some wrapper. But it's fine it's her way of learning and using scissor. Meanwhile Jarod was taking a nap and hubby went biking. My precious grandmother is getting up there in years. While she is still fully lucid, and definitely not in any way incapable, she is getting a little slower and a little more likely to take a spill. We had a very scary situation a few months back when she was pulling weeds in the yard and took a tumble down her hill. She broke her ankle and rolled for a bit before a neighbor spotted her and luckily ran over to help. While she lives close enough that we can take a day trip to see her, she is still a couple hours away, so getting there in good time if there was an emergency would be difficult. We worry about her going up and down the stairs inside, where there would be no one to see her fall. This is where her adt Seattle alarm comes in. One of the new features offered is a two-way voice link with the alarm monitoring company that can call for help immediately if there is an emergency. It helps my mom and I sleep better at night, and it’s definitely worth the couple of dollars a month we spend on it.

Yepey, we woke up with snow everywhere. You can see snow on top of our roof and trees. Maddie wanted to go out to play with the snow but it's too cold and Jarod wants to be with her too. So, maybe next snow time when daddy is here to watch Jarod. Maddie and Jarod likes cold weather but I don't. I am wearing jacket inside the house and still feel cold. Oh my winter is really here. I am not ready for it yet.
