Two weeks ago we got a call from hubby's brother and was very excited to tell us the news that he just proposed to his girlfriend. Fairfield, here we come.

We went to Fairfield, California last Sunday to visit hubby's relative and to visit the house that hubby's sister bought in Williams. It was a six hours drive and we also planned on dropping by at the Golden Gate Bridge. But at the last minute the plan got change. We ended up going and staying at hubby's aunt's house in Fairfield for two nights and just visited the house in Williams. Then after they decided to just go home. So, we got here in LA at midnight last night. We'll be staying here until maybe Saturday and then go back home in Denver depending on the weather.

Going the bank.

As you all know that we are here in California for our holiday vacation. We are going to stay here until the third on January 2010. In that case we have to carry all our bills and pay it in here. Some we can pay online and others we'll have to mail them. Also I need to renew my CD account and get the best cd rates I can get. I have been a member of this bank since I moved to Colorado. It is also where my husband do his banking business. Anyway, this afternoon if we have time we can go to the bank and get some cashier's check because hubby forgot to bring his check book. We have to mail them before the 25th so that we will not be charge for late fees. I don't know if bank's are opened tomorrow being the 24th and that is why we have to go today. We also need to go to Costco to buy some milk and prune juice for Maddie. I have to go now and get ready.

While hubby and I are getting ready to go to Costco hubby's father took care of Maddie. They are outside in the backyard playing with Chino the dog. Dream vacation.

Hubby and I always like travelling to different places. Last year we travelled to Canada and it was nice seeing the place. This year we just got back from our trip to the Philippines. Hubby, Maddie and I enjoyed it except the humidity. We liked spending time with my family. We also drove to see beautiful scenery in Bohol. It was nice feeling to see and be with my family again. Anyway, the next time we plan for a vacation is to go to another country like Spain. We might just stay in a hotel because we don't have any relatives in there. Maddie just like it here in California because she has a lot of people to play with. Also, she likes to play with Chino (hubby's sister's dog). She likes to run around the house. As sson as she hear music she dance. She even have a hard time taking a nap because all she wanted to do is play. We left Colorado at around 7:30am driving to California to spend the holiday with hubby's family. The trip was not bad at all and Maddie was sleeping most of the time. Whenever she got tired we just stop and gave her a break. One time we decided to stop in Sizzler restaurant in Cedar City to let Maddie walk around and also to grab something to eat. The place was not so good at all. The food was not so inviting. Well, at least we know next time not to eat in there. Anyway, we reached California at about 11:00pm and Maddie was so excited to see hubby's family.

Now, that we are here we can also see my friend who is getting married next year in July. She invited Maddie to be one of her flower girl. A gift for Maddie.

Elizabeth came to visit Maddie and gave her a gift. Thank you Elizabeth for the gift. Maddie like it a lot. I gave her some dried fish and corned beef from the Philippines. When driving to California we always passed by Las Vegas. It is a very nice place to see and lot's of lights at night. My aunt and uncle always come visit this place during weekend holiday to relax.
