Being a flower girl.

A friend of mine called yesterday to invite our little Maddie to be her flower girl on her wedding on July next year. I was excited about it and happy that our little Maddie can experience being a flower girl not realizing how old she is at that time. She is going to be a year and nine months old. Can she walk? Of course she can but the problem is if she will walk the aisle without crying or looking for me. Anyway, I told her yes and I was grateful. She said to give her Maddie dress measurement on December, that's when they'll make the dress. It's a little bit early and I told her that they grow fast. She said that it's not a problem just give allowance. I said, oh yes. So, that's it. That's settled. Then hubby got home and I told him about the invitation. He said it's good and he can take a lot of pictures with Maddie with her dress. And he really likes it too but later we get to talking about the situation and he said that what about if she doesn't cooperate because she is too young and doesn't know anything yet. She might make their wedding not look so good because she is going to be crying and I'll be following her. Also she is not going to sit in the chair provided for flower girls. She will be cranky. She is going to be the youngest flower girl. Next to her is a five year old girl. So, we got to thinking of just calling my friend because it might not be a good idea. Maybe later on when she is a bit older then she can be a flower girl. Maybe in my husbands brother's wedding. Who know's. So, I guess I have to call my friend and let her know before she makes the invitations.
